Objectives:

  • Be able to describe the evidence related to the effects of acute pre-exercise stretching on strength, jumping, and running economy.
  • Be able to describe the evidence related to the effects of acute pre-exercise stretching on delayed onset muscle soreness.
  • Be able to describe the evidence related to the effects of acute pre-exercise stretching on the prevention of injuries.
